Have you ever wanted to track down info about those annoying spam sales calls? Now there is an app from developer 'BeenVerified' that aims to assist you with that. It is called "NumberGuru" and it is completely free to use. The app provides users with free unlimited reverse phone number look-ups. You can even leave comments in their database for numbers you look up to help identify phone spammers for everyone else. Supposedly, NumberGuru is averaging about 10 look-ups per second, or 864,000 look-ups each day. This looks like an impressive and useful app. Has anyone out there tried it? If you have or you do, let us know what you think in the thread.

i cant say 100% but im pretty sure it needs contact permissions to access your call history. This lets you select numbers that called you.

Another argument for porting to GV, then you just block spam numbers. I've done this with a few idiots that continued to call me even after being told they had the wrong number. Heck, for fun I should even give them a pre-recorded GV message that says "wrong number, get it through your thick skull"
