Nokia / MS also held a press event this morning, introducing the Lumia 920 and 820 (no idea if Verizon will be getting these or not). Supposedly the 920 has their new "Pureview" camera technology, and if this video is true, it's incredibly impressive.

Some other low-light comparisons to the S3 and 4S from Engadget

Nokia's Damian Dinning goes in-depth on phase two of PureView for the Lumia 920 (video) -- Engadget

If this all rings true, it's pretty darn impressive.

Not only is it a sweet camera the build quality is second to none (my opinion) Not to mention Windows Phone 8 is pretty darn stellar with some great features (again my opinion)

Check out the quick video review.

Hands on: Nokia Lumia 920

Nokia apologized and posted a real video - not as dramatic, but still you can tell a difference and it looks pretty beneficial:

In a van by the River......
just so you know that whole video with the girl on the bike was shot using a professional camera and crew... if you pause it at 27 seconds you can see the camera van in the window reflection.

Yeah I added the link to the article discussing that in the OP, as well as their apology in another post a couple of posts up. Still looks pretty cool, though.

Nokia really is a good company and have always released very good high end phones (N line for example). If Verizon was ever to get a high end Nokia phone I would consider moving over to Windows mobile for it.
