MIUI ROM started the closed beta on the 16th of August. After three months, and constant improvements, the fourth closed beta will start on November 26th. The closed beta will support models: Google N1, HTC Desire, and the MOTO Milestone.

As MIUI releases the fourth beta they would like to thank you for the encouragement and criticism that help bring the community together. They are taking signups now.

I think this will help those of us using Miui on the D1. It won't have to be ported from the Nexus One. Instead it can be ported from the Milestone, which should be easier. It should also give us options which are missing because the rom will be written for a device with a physical keyboard. This should help with the rotation problems like the home screen.
