notification ring

anybody know how to cut the notification ring off when plugging or unplugging your phone

mine only goes off when I plug into the computer

thats how I charge my phone at work though so its real annoying in my little cubicle farm

There is a setting for that I am trying to find it cause I did it on mine. One sec

Under sound settings uncheck sd card notifications.

tried that but it didnt fix it, any other ideas? tried rebooting thinking that might make it go into effect but no suck luck

Hmmm no, that is what worked for me. You could put silent mode on before you plug it in. Kinda pain but should work.
