Everything about this rom is perfect...

except it doesn't have the notification power widget!!! Pete, how could you leave that out!!?? that has become a standard in roms now.

I hate to sound unappreciative, bc this rom runs better than any other besides maybe UD 2.5, but not having the notification power widget is a deal breaker for me unfortunately

I have to agree with you. Altho this is not a deal breaker for me I would love to have pulldown widgets like in UD 2.5. I wish I had the coding experience to put this in myself.

as nice as this is, how much bloat does it add to the ROM? I do like it, but at the same time I really like how quick and unfettered BB is...

What's the point of different ROMs if they are all going to have the same features?

I also really like the pulldown power widget and do miss it. I found two apps that help take away some of the pain, both from the same dev in the market. Look for "Wifi Status Bar Switch" and "Bluetooth Status Bar Switch" by friedflow. These are two apps, not widgets you can put on your homescreen, or in the launcher dock at the bottom. They also put ad a spot in the notification pulldown where you just tap it in the list to turn the item on or off. I hope I have explained this well enough. Try them, they work good with this ROM. Now if I could just get Volume Switch and Torch Switch...

Try Extended Controls. It's a customizable power widget that you can add any of the following to:

    2g-3g
    4g
    wifi
    data
    brightness
    reboot/recovery
    Torch
    BlueTooth
    gps
    autosync
    battery level
    autolock
    airplane
    autorotate
    timeout (screen timeout)
    Hot-Spot Wifi
    usb tethering
    mute-vibrate-normal
    silent
    silent/vibrate
    language
    media scanner (refresh media library)
    and some others...

You can add them to a bar, or have them be individual toggles. Set the button style and color as well as background. Great App

I think it's $2, but well worth the price. It's actually pictured in some of the bb 0.5 themes, on the "Get your Theme on " thread.

Thanks for the info. These will do for now.

I am not looking for Pete to put this in his ROM but if we had the option to add it would be great. This way people can add it if they want. Just an idea.

If you are asking for the option to be there without it coming from an App, then you ARE asking pete to put it in his ROM.

I'll add my +1 to the mix. I LOVE this feature on other ROMs. It is one of the few things that I really wish BB had.

How about as a add on install zip. This way people can add it if they want. Not everyone will HAVE to have it.

uh.. how about look, feel, speed, coding and other things the devs offer? cm, ud, bb, miui, etc. you can't say all are the same, but they have similar features.

i'd like to see the pull down controls also with customization features.
