Yeah I keep my lockscreen pin locked and have no intention of having it available from my lockscreen. ..

Unless I can figure out a way to allow it with hands free mode that is automated with MacroDroid while in my car.

Get into car
Car Bluetooth triggers Hands free
Lockscreen bypassed
Get out of car
Loss of car bluetooth turns off hands free
Lockscreen no longer bypassable

I just did this with My GNote 3..

Guess I just don't see the point in running both, though I do understand someone's comment earlier that s voice helps a bit more in the car. I don't travel a whole lot and google now covers sending texts for me via voice if I need. Other than that, my phone is my gps when I go on long road trips, so I tend to set it before taking off and not check it/use apps until I stop again.

Considering tethering an old phone to my note 4 for my next road trip though. Then I have the good phone free if I need it and a dedicated gps...

Ok... Just for giggles, I turned on "always on" & Use with locked screen. It didn't respond with the screen off, but did with it on, but still locked.

I've been using Svoice since the Fascinate and you've never been able to activate it when the screen is off. That said, when a call, text or email comes through when SVoice & Driving mode are on, you will be able to utilize it if the screen times out.
After the latest Google updates, I havent even bothered messing with SVoice because Google is now that good. (Just my personal preference of course)

The setting to wakeup when the screen is off is in my Google now options.

I was just toying with s voice & can't get it to launch via voice unless I have the app open. Kinda pointless that way.

You can set your own voice command though. That would be cool if I could get it to respond without having to launch the app first.

S voice wakeup settings:

Geez. You guys have me all messed up. Now I've spent a good chunk of the evening trying to get s voice to respond to my voice from anywhere but within the app. I reset it a few times. The last time, I chose to not setup a custom phrase & got it to popup with "hi Galaxy" on the Homescreen twice out of like 10 times, but it only launched the little window with the mic button. I had to press the button to give it any command & it never worked if I followed hi Galaxy with a command.
