Note 3 gets hot easily after only a few minutes of games

My Note 3 gets hot easily after only a few minutes of games. Battery drainage notseems obvious ever since i have used a 8500 battery. When not gaming, the Android OS always sucks up most power and sometimes even up to 80%. Can I get a solution to these problems? Does games are destroying my device? Should I stop tapping on games? Thank you for any help in advance.

Without knowing more, my first hunch is the battery. Those gigantic sized ones seem to notoriously cause problems on people's phone. Have you tried using the battery that came with the phone and see if you still have the same temp issues?
