Went on a weekend valentines getaway. Ran a speed test and this is what I got. Notice the speed tests were run when my network signal was in the black (not green). I am guessing this is the new band verizon is rolling out. I had an s3 running at identical times and it was only in the 30s down and around 15 upload. Awesomely fast!

Where were you when you ran the test?

I'll test this out at my work tomorrow - we're right next to a Verizon tower. I did notice LTE was infinitely faster than my WiFi the moment I got my Note 3...

Not only that but look at the "flat" part of the battery details......I went to bed with 59% battery and 6 hours later I was still at 59%. You can see in the screenshot above that I am at 57%. That is the test that I did first thing in the morning to see if it was a fluke. Needless to say it wasn't.

I ran the test 20 times in a row and it never slowed down. I also ran the FCC speedtest and it confirmed with speedtest.net

Very jealous :D At my work next to a Verizon tower - only getting 43.78mbps down and 13.60mbps up :) Faster than I'd never need but more speed the better, right?

Don't be jealous. I was on a mini vacation. This town is an hour from my house. At work I am 4G and run only about 10 down and 3 up and at home (3 blocks away) I am 4G and run around 5 down and 2 up.

I'm typically 10 down and 3 up so when I see numbers like that I can't help but drool a little!

Yeah you're right. I'm looking at my old speed tests and I was getting 15-16 down and 10 up. So getting 43+mbps down consistently now must be using that new radio.
