"Not enough storage space" on D INC...???

I have:

434/748 mb free phone storage
6.46gb/6.6gb free internal storage
2.22gb/3.79gb free sd card storage

yet i keep getting these two warnings, and now accompanied by force closes, stating:

(1) "Not enough storage space for SMS... your phone storage is almost full"
(2) "Low on space... phone storage space is getting low"

internet is force closing, twitter won't update, all because of this...

anybody else have this issue?

Mine says the same thing but also as soon as it starts up and i do the slide to unlock thing it goes to a white screen with HTC across the top of it. Any ideas? Also a lot of different things start to force when it goes to that screen.

Try going to Manage Applications and sorting by size. See whats taking up most of your space. When I had this problem, my Dolphin Browser HD was taking up 40+ mb. I backed up Dolphin via the option in its settings, reinstalled Dolphin, and restored from the backup. Low space warning went away, and Dolphin only takes up 3 MB now.

This happened to my wife's Dinc and I moved as many of her Apps and pics to the SD card as I could. She hasn't had a problem since. This was about a month ago.
