#1 - dont call Motorola... lol

What if you go to ROM Manager, and choose the 2nd option "Stock Images"... try that yet?

Otherwise, did you ever make a backup, either with SPRecovery or Clockwork of a previous ROM before Cyanogen?

Here is a link that will get you back to stock 2.0.1 : Downgrade to 2.0.1, unroot or unbrick your phone

    He may not need to...

If you made a backup of ANY OTHER ROM than Cyanogen, switch to the recovery image that you used to make that backup, and do it from Rom Manager

    -Then, reboot into recovery
    -Wipe system twice
    -Wipe Cache twice
    -Advanced Restore
-Choose Backup - (Choose a good non-Cyanogen backup)
    -Restore (with system/data/boot checked)

If you made a backup of any ROM in the past, that should work for you.

i went to the place where i bought the phone that is just an authorized dealer and he told me that the same thing happened a week ago to another guy that works there and he went to Verizon and told them that his brother did it to his phone and they just reset it. he also said worst comes to worst to drop it down a flight of stairs and go claim it on insurance. I'm going to vz tomorrow to see what they say.
