I'm looking for a few thoughts as to why I'm unable to use my wifi at home instead of my data plan.

Here's what happens: My device is able to detect and connect to my home network. But when I attempt to open a browser or other service I get the error message "Can not connect to server...". In my phone settings, I have wireless enabled. If I turn off wifi, I can connect to the internet.

I have reset my wireless router hoping that may do the trick. No luck. Anyone have a suggestion?

Did you put the password in on the phone side? When you hook up to wifi for the first time sometimes it will show it's connected but in order to browse successfully you need to enter the password.

I cleared my wifi from manage wifi, then reset the router, entered passkey again and that then did the trick.
