Hey guys/gals here's a nooby question for you all:

After you install a custom rom using nandroid when you reinstall all of your apps do you go straight to the market and manually reinstall each app, or do you streamline it some other way (ie. astro app backup).

Part 2 of question: if you use a method like astro backup restore, how does the market handle future updates? Like if I was to restore all my backed up apps through astro, would the market recognize that I still have these apps, and therefore still check these for updates? One time I flashed a custom rom, restored all my apps, but the market didn't recognize them and my list of downloads listed like 3 apps I paid for, so I never knew about updates and such. It was annoying!

    Thanks for your input all!

    1. I've used astro back-up but usually just dl.

    2. If you are signed into gmail then your apps should be recognized and updated auto style. if they're not then uninstall and re-dl for free (you only pay once, your google account knows what you bought)
