    Ok here goes...can you tell me the pros and cons of rooting my phone? Should a non computer genius such as myself even try it? Will it totally void any warranties? These may seem like silly questions to some...but I really don't care :p

    Well you asked a big one lol. These links are a great place to start but the best thing to do is lots of research.
    Rooting grants you access to all the files on you phone and allows you to overclock, install custom ROMs, and many other things. But like I said check out these links and go from there!
