I have the default Mail program set up to access my POP3 Comcast.net mail account. I can send and receive mail but I have some issues:

I have set the option to DELETE WHEN I DELETE FROM EMAIL
When I delete messages from my INBOX and then REFRESH, I sometimes get those same emails back again as new messages.

ALSO, I cannot seem to find the DELETE ALL button for the TRASH folder. AM I MISSING SOMETHING?? My trash folder has 252 items in it.

Thanks
Tim

Don't think there is a solution for this... I posted the same question while back...

K-9 offers a solution, I believe. It has a separate command, "expunge," that wipes out deleted email.

All in all, I'd recommend taking a look at K-9. It has a number of advantages over the stock email program.
