My touch screen is really jumpy and doesn't work well often. But if I lock and unlock my phone its fine for a few. I dropped it pretty hard the other day but I was thinkin it could be 1.65 but I switched to 1.7 and its still happening. Anyone got any ideas. I'm thinkin I just busted it but if anyone else is having problems let me know.

Lower your clock speed and see what happens. I think his runs 1.8ghz out of the gate.

My screen was jumpy to when I first installed 1.7. It has now seemed to have fixed itself. Is it doing this when you scroll slowly?

also if you charge it with a non-motorola charger while using it, the screen will do that too

I flashed a test while driving home the other night (kiddies do not attempt)
Battery was low so I plugged the moto's charger into my power inverter.
Flashed the ROM and could barely get passed the login screen. Booted and still had screen sketchiness. Reflashed same problem, reported to Liquid of the "rom problem ".. got home plugged to wall and noticed screen was NOW FINE. Boy did I feel like a dumb arse. Still running the test rom typing this NP.

Power inverter + OG charger = fail fo me

Was the issue solved? If not you might have what I think has been referred to as ghosting, since out is as if a ghost was hitting buttons on the touch screen. Example, You hit call button next to contact and the button three contacts up lifts up and next thing you know you are calling an ex girlfriend...nooooo!

If that is the situation it is an issue with the phone itself.
They replaced it for me immediately, as they were aware some had been encountering the problem.
