no sound????

ive had my fascinate for about 6 weeks now and love it so far. but today for some reason the sound completely stopped working. no ringer, no text notification, nothing. i've went into the sound settings and checked everything. i've shut the phone off and restarted trying to possibly just reboot the entire phone and still no luck.
Earlier today i i got a "quick settings" app of some sort off the market and was playing around with it for like 10mins and decided i didnt like/need it so i got rid of the app completely. i dont know if i messed something up with the phone playing around with the app or what i did, but i have no clue how to fix it now...any ideas wood help. thanks

System sound settings? If anything bring it to the vzw techs or format to factory settings? All I could think of.
