No sound, no video playback

Droid X.
About 4 weeks ago, sound stopped working. Also couldn't use camera or camcorder. Couldn't playback my own videos, or pics or even music. Youtube also doesnt work.

About 2 weeks ago, when I unmount the SD Card, everything worked again. this is no longer a solution. Unmounting doesnt do anything anymore.

Any ideas?

I'm running Android 2.3.4, it's a droid x.

If I move all moveable apps to the SD Card and do a Factory Reset on the phone only, will that allow me to keep my save files, for example everything I have done on Angry Birds, will I be able to keep that?

A lot of Android phones are having this issue. Try this app and see if it works. The Pro version lets you route sound during phone calls too!
