no service problem

    my friend and i rooted phone yesterday, did busybox then friend tried to install a theme and was using metamorph, phone crashed and now when we start it starts and says "no service" and we get sorry, ... has failed, force close, and it keeps repeatedly doing this...ive already taken it back once because of this and got a new droid, what is wrong and how can i fix it

    If I was you, I would not try to install metamorph.....and if it still has no service, try unrooting it, and see if that helps...

    were trying to but nandroid isnt working

    I've noticed a decrease in signal strength after I rooted as well....I'm still currently looking for a fix.

    Verizon took back your rooted phone? What did you tell them was wrong?

    They couldnt tell i guess, the problem with the phone it just keeps coming up saying sorry force close for a bunch of programs, but anyways, my friend and i deleted the file that originally caused this but it got into system we assume and we need a backup of the system folder, if anyone could help please do, i have aim if thats fast
