I have spent all day dealing with an issue and don't know where else to turn. My DX will not connect to the Verizon network for 3g/1x coverage. I can only access the internet via a wifi connection. I have done multiple factory resets and dialed *228 to program and update roaming capabilities with no change. My phone is not rooted and never has been. Neither 3g nor 1x shows up where it normally does at the top of the screen.
Verizon tech rep tried all he could to no avail and referred me to Asurion for an insurance claim.
To top the day off, Asurion offered me an OG Droid as a replacement phone, which obviously isn't what I want.
If anyone has any other suggestions PLEASE let me know.
