We have some sad news to report to you guys. It looks like Motorola has decided to drop the Xoom brand name. Apparently, it isn't entirely because they didn't want to keep it either. In case you missed it, Motorola was actually sued in 2011 for using the Xoom name by a payment company called Xoom Corp. Here's a quote with the details,

Obviously this means there will never be another Xoom tablet, but it doesn't necessarily mean we will never see another Motorola tablet. Of course, we will still be here in the forums so you still have a place to come chat and find tech advice for owners of the Xoom tablet.

Love my Xoom, been rocking the WiFi model since it came out. Was always first with new updates, love the vanilla android still doesn't feel underpowered compared to friends newer tablets I have played with. Me and my son still use it daily, sad to see the name go

Does that mean the value of the OG Honeycomb tablet just increased?
Just kidding, I don't think it was ever worth more than face value to begin with. Been rocking the WiFi model since day 1 as well, and still my primary (since it's my only) tablet... Rooted with 10.1 right now, and it's still chugging along perfectly. And I won't get another tablet til I run this in to the ground.
