I have a Moto Droid 1 flashed to CM 7 RC2. Just noticed that I have no keyboard lights when I slight out the keyboard nor do my hard buttons light up (back, menu, home, search) The screen also seems too bright at night even though it is set for min at night.

I use the program setting profiles to run time and location based profiles. Though I notice that CM has some profile ability in it. Conflict perhaps?

Did you use rom manager to download and install the rom? If so, that might be your problem.

Try a re-install and flash numerous times. I've sometimes had to do it 5-6 times. I had the same issue with SS 5.1 and when nobody else had the same problem, figured I'd re-install. Fixed my problem.

If you read any ROM's thread or bug-list thread, and your problem isn't something many others have, it's more often than not a glitch on the install. Simply re-install to correct.

I think it is a software conflict. I just nandroid backed up the rom and then did a factory reset and presto I've got lights on the keyboard. No time today to mess with this so I restored my backup.

I've got two programs Quick Setting and Setting Profiles that give you access to settings and controls. I'm guessing one or both may be at issue. Stuff I've always had on my stock phone and installed them right off the bat out of habit and desire not knowing how much of that is provided by CM any way.

I've got more time tomorrow and I wipe it again and start installing one by one till I figure out which one is bugging it up. I'll post my findings as I discover them. dancedroid
