No Led in handcent

Hey I'm not getting handcent to turn on led when there is a new text. The led will turn on if I enable notifications in native messaging app but go away as soon as I turn them off. Just dont want double notifications in status bar. Any ideas

Turn off your stock notifications and keep handcent on. That should fix the double notofication problem.

I did that but when I turned off stock notifications the led did not flash at all. But like I said it seemed to fix itself. Not sure what was happening.

Ok, so it happened again. Went 40 minutes with a text on there and no flashing led...what the heck. I'm stumped, it worked fine earlier today now poof no led again for a new message.
