A crafty and creative graphic artist came up with an amazing idea and rendered it in stunning 3D detail. It's a Nintendo Android smartphone, and it makes us wonder why Nintendo didn't think of it. The phone concept is called the Smart Boy, and it wouldn't be complete without a detachable Nintendo-style controller to play the coolest games (shown in the thread below).

The display is massive, but the retro design of the phone, in both line and color, definitely are reminiscent of Nintendo's heyday. The device idea even comes with a "classic 8-bit" mode that will help conserve battery life as it allows you to wax nostalgic with the games of your childhood.

Someone needs to make this happen! (You can find more images of the concept at the source link below.)

My money just disappeared! WHAT HAPPENED!!

This is honestly the best looking phone I've seen in a while and the Game Boy trim is just icing on the cake. Too bad I know Nintendo wouldn't get on board with this even though their sales would probably sky rocket to their new mobile initiative.

I think this would help Nintendo especially with the Wii U Bombing and they just keep tweaking the 3DS. They can even do some exclusive Retro Games for it. I see some potential here. It can be the next Christmas must have item!!

AND they could release old NES SNES Gameboy GBC GBA games...... even DS games because this has a touch screen.... though could probably even find a way to make N64 games run on it.

too bad they can't see the opportunity.

Oh yeah. I'd be all over this device. They've already come out and said they were going to get into android games. I'm with you guys! Put out some classic games right along with it (some could even be exclusive to this phone) and take my money right now!
