According to SlashGear at Google Press Conf.

"$529 unlocked; $179 with a T-Mobile USA contract. “Coming Spring 2010″ to Verizon and Vodafone (in Europe)."

Nothing yet but I would imagine same pricing as T-Mobile. So $529 unlocked or $179 on contract.

Holy crap. Everybody was saying that VZW had turned the phone down.

My, my... this has gotten very interesting. Wouldn't trade my Droid for that phone, but wow. I don't think anybody saw this coming.

...AND Google will also be selling the other brands directly on their webstore..incliuding Motorola!

"new phone and a new way of buying them through the webstore in partnership with carrier and hardware partners. More operators and more devices (HTC, Motorola and others) coming, together with more countries"

I will be replacing my Droid with the Nexus One. Will the Verizon version be GSM or CDMA?

Kind of sucks for all companies that do business with google for anything android related. I certainly hope all companies involved were aware they were making a phone for themselves, otherwise it seems kind of like a dbag move.

It would be kind of like McDonalds building other McDonalds across the street from someone franchising a McDonalds.

Well HTC obviously knew Google was coming out with their own phone since they are the ones who built it for Google. Motorola is the one possibly getting the shaft if they weren't aware.

This is being answered right now.... check the live feed Google Android Press Gathering on USTREAM: We are broadcasting Live from building43 on Google's campus. At the Google Android Press Gathering.. Gadgets

Was a vague answer, just saying the Droid WILL get the same OS as Nexus. But we knew this.
