With Google I/O wrapping up a few days ago it's no surprise that developer's have already Hacked and Rooted the star of the show! The Root method comes several weeks before the device even hits store shelves. We knew this would happen as Nexus devices have always been wide open! The method for unlocking the bootloader, installing ClockworkMod recovery and rooting this device is actually pretty straight forward and simple. If you have used a nexus device before then this will be familiar territory for you. It does require that you have the Android SDK installed to your PC which will be the most difficult part for most. However setting up the SDK is not nearly as difficult as people make it out to be and you can find many tutorials on youtube to guide you through. Other than that you will just hook up your device to your PC, type in a few commands and viola Unlocked, Rooted, CWM on your Nexus 7!

So do I install the screen saver and faux carbon fiber back cover, or root the tablet first?
