Last week, @DroidModderX shared a video that shows a video tube editor supposedly bending a brand new Nexus 6P with relative ease. DMX made the valid point in his coverage of the video that the test wasn't exactly scientific. Furthermore, the final bend test was compromised because the video blogger had tortured and heated up the device with a lighter before bending it. This obviously could have altered a number of factors which impacted the structural integrity of the device, leading to the bend being easier.

Luckily, the internets are full of YouTubers ready and willing to risk the destruction of their devices for our viewing entertainment and edification. We found another video, but this one shows the tester using what is obviously a retail purchased Nexus 6P, and then loading it up with weights in such a way as to potentially bend the device. He was eventually able to get 90 Ibs. of weight layered across the phone, and determined that this weight was likely its maximum point before damage occurred.

Check out the video in the thread below and compare it to the other (here's a link). Be sure to sound off and let us know what you think of this new test, and be sure to drop by our dedicated Nexus 6P section for further discussion: Nexus 6P by Huawei | Android Forum at DroidForums.net
