News Apps?

What are the best apps for reading or keeping up with news? I'm looking for apps like AP Mobile, BBC News & Thomson Reuters. I really like the 'old' AP Mobile, but the new release has really slowed it down. The 'get all stories' in Reuters is solid, I can download and read on the subway or other areas without service. I find the mobile website of newspapers as a good alternative, but expect more from Droid!

The Weather and News app from 2.1 is amazing. Do a search for the apk file and install it, you won't regret it.
