I'm sure everyone is aware of the focus issue. On close subjects, the camera will focus and then pop back out of focus. With this newest froyo build, it focuses and actually stays in focus. Not bad for a cell phone camera now.

For those of you who want to see the full size picture, here you go. You can actually see the "pixels" in the label lol.

Very nice, I wonder if there is a way that can be pulled out and put in SS4.5

I'm sure all devs from now on will use this latest build for their future roms. So you might have to wait or go to the plain froyo build right now.

I've also noticed that this build is overall smoother on everything (without even overclocking).

Oh the temptations. I guess I'll have to nandroid and try out a vanilla 2.2 for the Droid. Hell, why not, my Droid hasn't been flashed in 2 days.

That is true that it just flies at 600. 600 on the new froyo feel like 800 on 2.1.

aside from proprietary drivers, any source built rom should have all of these things already and most likely more. Changes are probably in the drivers though.

Few more shots. Although the pictures are still noisy when blown up, the colors seem to have gotten a lot better. Before, the sky would look almost purple. The pool shot is very dark because I was standing in the shade and took a picture in the BRIGHT 100 degree sun, so it made everything look dark.

Overall I'm VERY pleased with the Droid camera now. Definitely no point and shoot, but this newest froyo build made it 100x better. Keeps focus and better colors = awesome
