    i'm new too the smartphones and have a question. do you need any virus protection with these phones? i called my phone company and they could not answer, so i'm here asking the experts. i must say i really am glad i stepped up too the htc droid, thanks!

    No. As of right now there are no known Android viruses and most of the antivirus apps out there only mess with peoples' phones.

    first off welcome to the forum.. secondly everything i have read says no you dont need antivirus no one has caught a virus yet....
