I have a verizon droid x and I am trying to get netflix, I have froyo 2.2 and from here I am stuck , can someone help me in plain english?

Last I checked, you aren't goingto be able to stream on a Froyo droid x. I think it still requires gingerbread unless something has changed.

I am very new to all of this, I have been on this page and I confess I am not knowageable enough to figure out what is right in front of me. What do I do when I click on the thread?

There is a link at the bottom of that thread that goes to xda developers thread with the cracked app. Follow that link and download the middle app. You will have to register with them in order to download it.

I am registered with them, one last thing. I should be doing this from the phone, correct. I am in the middle of nowhere and am working with dial up, I have to walk around outside to get a signal for my phone, but common sense tells me to go to the market and type in netflix-device option. or should I google it? Told you I am a newbie. Thank you for your help.

From your phone follow the link I posted and then follow the link in there to the xda thread and download the cracked app and use a file browser like astro to find the apk in your downloads folder and install it. You're not going to find anything in the market.

I couldn't do it on my phone. I had to download it from my computer and put it on my SD Card.

The cracked version of Netflix works on my stock droid x. Not rooted or anything.
