Newbie- Looking for info- Want to Root my Bionic-

I want to learn how to Root my Droid Bionic...
I have never rooted a phone before. I have been reading forums and web pages about rooting. I know that if you don't know what you are doing, you can say goodbye to your phone. Any information, including links, downloads or anything else that may be helpful is appreciated.

Welcome to the forums Here's a quick guide on how to root your phone http://droidmodderx.com/bionic/root-motofail-root-d4-razr-or-bionic/ If your going to install a rom, pay attention to what android version your on and what the rom you're installing is for. The only current rom that is gingerbread is Eclipse 2.2. That can be found here and on eclipserom.com. All of the ICS roms can be found on droid hive.
