NewB rom Q

ok so I rooted my phone. ran all the steps to make a back up nandroid now I wanna throw a new ROM on, I want a simple, clean cut rom. Something easy to apply. Any ideas?? thanks in advance!!

Well, I would be a liar if I suggested anything other than Liberty v1.5...it is by far an away an awesome ROM. No BLUR if you dont want it...just enough BLUR if you add it...great battery life, excellent support from Kejar and JRummy, plenty of custom themes...and blindingly fast UI...

I will also offer DarkSide...it was going to be my first ROM until I ran across Liberty v1.0...still an amazing ROM...

Best bet is to look around the Droid X ROM`s forums and see what tickles your fancy and then check the status of the users running it...

Ok I just put liberty on but now I can't sync my contacts!! am I going to have to collect them again?? And idk why it wont let me activate swype /:
