Sorry if this has been asked before.

I have an OG droid and am considering upgrading to a droid x.

I seem to love everything about the droid x. I have one issue that is the deal breaker for me. The ability to use my dpad to move around and land on specific target or area.

How do you move the cursor directionally whether it be up, down, left right when you need to land on a specific area on the screen?

I dont know if i explained that the best way. I love my keyboard's dpad when i need to move back or forward a couple spaces.

Do you have to zoom in on the specific area you want to place the cursor each time?

Welcome to Droid Forums! Enjoy your stay!
Since there is no physical keyboard or D-Pad on the X, everything relies on touch. So yes would be the answer to your question. With a screen of that size though, it wouldn't take very long to get used to. Have you considered the Droid 2?

yeah it is as simple as touching the location you want the cursor to move to. Unless you have Olgar hands this is no problem.

You can hold it to get a zoom in shot of where to place your cursor and then move it around like that. Works pretty well.
