I plan on making a new walkthrough on Tuesday when I get back home on Tuesday. Its going to be how to install a nandroid backup rom so that people can easily get the 2.1 roms that are coming out. I also want it to post on my blog. So far a lot of the steps will be the same but I am looking for your input on what you'd like to see...so far I know for sure that I will include the download links to all the major roms. But id like to hear anything that you would like to see, especially what you think the most noob friendly way of going from 2.0:q without losing all data...such as using titanium backup etc.

Thanks for your help in making what I hope to be a very noob friendly and successful howto on installing 2.1

Video guides aren't very easy to troubleshoot. And what, the forums doesn't want another guide?

64,000 "double notifications" threads are ok but you're going to say we don't need a step by step guide for this?

Matt3w I can ALWAYS appreciate one of your how to guides. Being a noob coming from complete stock your "how to:bugless beast" helped out and worked flawlessly.. I look forward to seeing a step by step guide from you on 2.1, even tho I already did mine but there could be something I might of missed! Your the man bro!

I'm not saying you can't or shouldn't. I just don't see the point. Knock yourself out though. Are you going to put them all on your blog?

Yeah probably. Was hoping to deal with the developers to release their information every time they update on the blog.

Matthew, I followed your "[How To] Easily install Bugless Beast using only SPRecovery, Terminal Emulator, & zip" guide last month and am real happy with it. However, I've been thinking about upgrading, so I jumped on here only to find you may do another walkthrough. I was pleased with the ROM/combo you chose last time, so I'm willing to follow your suggestions again!

Another step by step with pics is suggested! :icon_ banana:

I know developing and keeping processes are very time consuming but I can't tell you how helpful your instructions are for me. I printed the Bugless Best instructions and have written notes on them and refer to them frequently.

There are a number of different processes for dummies, like me, so a step by step set of instructions, similar to your instruction for installing BB, encourages folks like me to install new roms. Therefore, I would like to see any process that you decide to post follow the current format. It made my experiences a lot easier!

Titanium Backup with the donate version is probably the best way to restore apps and app data without screwing something up, right?

The update processes sometimes change hourly making a video tutorial practically worthless. I often disagree with Matth3w's posts, but I have to say his meticulous attention to detail makes his written step by step guides invaluable. That is why his previous guide is so popular.

I'm not sure. MyBackupPro appears to offer a more comprehensive solution. The downside -- will folks pay the fee?

Thanks for what I consider a great compliment. I'm going to incorporate most of my old guide so it won't be too much of a hassle. The hardest part will be trying to keep all the ro links updated.
