What's the deal with the Edge program I saw while watching football today? It seems too good to be true.

If you utilize the edge program to upgrade a phone, twice a year it'll cost you 300 plus tax and the restocking fee (yes its hidden in the fine print), upgrade fee. Roughly 450 here. Equates to twice a year updates of 900. The max program will give you 6 gigs if you're coming off unlimited. If you pay retail you still have a 6 month old phone to sell. 800 (with accessories) twice a year less 300-400 for a used phone sold on eBay leaves you with 1200 and you still own a 300-400 phone. Just saying.

When you upgrade the phone, you have to turn the old in, the rep told me. Heck with that.

Exactly, nothing to sell on swappa or eBay. And it is subject to their return policies.
