New Verizon Update?

Got a notification on my moto x of a new firmware update (see screen shot). I accepted the update and the phone restarted but when I checked the firmware version it was still 4.4. Anyone else get this?

The latest soak test should've been for 4.4.2. That's odd. How big was the file?

Not sure. It gave me a prompt to install and I hit "Install now"

The phone then restarted but it never installed anything. Went to about phone and still said 4.4. I then check for an update and there was nothing there.

A member on XDA also got this update and was still on 4.4 afterwards. Not real sure what it's about.

With my HTC Rezound we once got a pre update before the actual update. It was like they had to change a few things before the full update would load. Chris

Is this an upgrade to Google Play Services? I know that is being rolled out, and the latest version allows apps to be enabled for Chromecast. (I am waiting anxiously for it for my phone!)
