Hey, my Spring Samsung Galaxy S3 just got updated to Jelly Bean today, and since it's been upgraded, FoxFi no longer works for the phone. Every time I try to activate it, it say's "WiFi mode has failed on your phone". Anyone have any clue why all of a sudden it no longer works? Or does anyone have any alternative solutions?

On the FoxFi app in the Play Store...

Currently WiFi mode does not work on most phones with Jelly Bean (except for a few models) and most HTC phones (except for HTC One). However Bluetooth mode works for all phones.

And on the paid version...

Make sure the free version of FoxFi works for you first and we recommend ignoring any Jelly Bean update if the hotspot feature is important to you.

Try PdaNet 3.50. They incorporated foxfi into their app using an older version. I'm not sure it will work but it is worth as try

SVTP worked on my GNEX with switch to Jellybean. Costlier but we'll worth the investment. Running on GSlll with ICS.
