New Update Now No signal

Only had my droid 3 for two months and just last week the phone updated then right after that I have not had any signal since. I was curious if there was any way to backdate the updated version to the old one but have not been able to figure out how. Any ideas on what might be better to do?

First thing to try is dial *22899 to update PRLs.

If that doesn't work I would clear the system cache partition and if still no luck I would factory reset unfortunately.

Had the same problem with my D3. Got the OTA and it flashed on the screen that it failed and then immediately went back to the home screen but I had no Verizon connection. I tried different things but then called Verizon who had me do a hard reset, which did not work. Then Verizon got Motorola on on the call and he walked me through a manual reset, but still could not get to where the phone would reactivate on the Verizon network. Verizon ended up sending me a new phone which came with the update. Replacement phone works great.
