Hello all,
I have a Droid 2 that is no longer on Verizon's network (WiFi only). We use it for our kids to play toddler games on and watch videos on. I am having trouble getting it to play .mp4 files, so I'm going to root it and flash a custom rom to see if that will provide a better stock video player. I have experience in the HTC world with rooting and flashing and own an HTC Thunderbolt.
I am currently joining this forum to look at custom roms...

Thanks

Steve

Welcome to the forum.
I'm non rooted and prefer MX Player to the stock video player on my phone. There's a free and a paid version on the Play Store.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

MX Player is a good suggestion for you to start with prior to rooting :)...good luck!
