Hi all! I'm hoping for a little guidance here. We currently use Dell Axim PDA's at work. I know, they are ancient but have served us well for 7 faithful years. Now they are starting to break down. We are going to move to tablets, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to be precise! Only catch is I have to write the app that we will be using. Nothing fancy, I just need it to be able to read data from a csv and store data to a csv. I do want to have an interface for the csv so I can have tight control over what gets inputted though. The bulk of the processing will happen to the csv via Excel. I'm somewhat familiar with Excel VBA, but that's it as far as programming, unless you count batch files in DOS (I'm not even that old, I swear!!).
Where do I begin? Is there a good book that you guys can recommend? Website? It's overwhelming and exciting at the same time. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.
