So i just got this phone yesterday the Samsung Galaxy S2. I have seen some of my friends phones they have it all personalised, and i was wondering if there is a way you can change the messages colors and other stuff like that or make the light on my flash when i recive a text that kind if thing, to costomise my phone. Like i said i was a former apple user and im much happyer with android's setup.

Welcome to Droid Forums bdavis!! Its always nice to meet another convert :)

As far as messaging customization, I would suggest checking out Go SMS Pro or Handcent, both of which can be found on the Play Store. I have used both and it is amazing the amount of things you can change/modify within them.

You might also check out Light Flow in the market - it allows you to customize notifications of several apps.

Welcome to the site. If you install a home launcher on your phone you will be blown away with what you can do with your phone...without rooting (jail breaking) your phone. You'll be able to change the number of home screens you have, the way your screens transition, your icons, wallpaper, and hide status bars. Welcome to the world of Android and to the world of your phone set up your way.
