If you go into the Android Market they have the Apps listed by categories..."Top Free" being one of them

"Must have" depends on who you ask. There are tons of app suggestion threads here that you can reference. Are you looking for any specific types of apps? It seems kinda pointless to suggest free apps that you won't use. You could just browse the free apps in the Market or Appbrain.

I just received my droid 2 this week and have been searcing for this answer. Are the cost of some of the apps in the market a one time fee or is it a monthly fee?

    Thanks in advance!

The price next to the apps in the market is a one time fee you pay. Now, the developer of the app can choose to charge a monthly fee but that would be dealt with through the app or on their website and you would have to choose to purchase it. You would be notified if you need to buy a monthly subscription for an app.

download these two apps: APPAWARE and APPBRAIN
you can easily find the best apps in the market from these two.

Appbrain (i like this app a lot more)has tabs that let you sort , filter , and categorize apps.

It is designed to work with any vBulletin forum that has allowed the Tapatalk plugin. Actually, plus a few more besides vBulletin.
