I picked it up earlier today. It's a lot different from the old Market. I'm kind of ambivalent toward it for the moment. I've been using the old one for so long that it's going to take some getting used to.

Indeed it does. I never use that functionality, but I'm sure Moto needs to update that search location.

Checked the app in application manager and there's the ability to uninstall updates... so if you don't like it you can go back....

This is why the mfg's need to stop bluring the phones ups so their crap covers don't block our view to the apps.

Im having the constant problem of going into My Apps and only getting a list of 4 apps, 2 that I have installed and 2 that are not installed. and one of them uninstalled apps is YouTube, which I have installed.

I have had this problem on my phone forever, even with the old market, but with the old market it would switch back and show me the full list of installed apps, sometimes by switching from WiFi to 3G, or rebooting the phone, but its not budging on the new market

I finally got around to trying this market update out, and i got to say it's a huge improvement. If you haven't tried it out yet, you should. The down load link in the OP didn't work but if you use the Droid-Life link there will be a download link in that thread.
