New keyboard?

    Is there any way to get a different keyboard on the droid x? I will not root my phone so I wasn't sure if it was possible.. I didn't know if i would be able to download new keyboards from somewhere or anything like that.. please let me know!! Thanks

    I got the "Big Button" key board from the market, works well

    Give Swype a shot, by far the best keyboard available (most would agree :icon_ banana: )

    all the keyboards listed above (except Swype) are available in the market. just start the market app and search for keyboard. Swype is pre-installed on your Droid X.

    if you press and hold ("long press") in any text entry field, you will get a popup menu with an option to "change input method", select that and choose whatever keyboard you want from the list.
