I just rooted my phone using z4root and installed BB v.5 using rom manager. I downloaded one of chevy's kernels as well as one of p3droid's. I tried to install one of them and when one didnt work i tried the other using rom manager by using clockworkmod and also sprecovery but everytime i try to install it says it fails on sprecovery and it doesnt even start on clockworkmod. Can anyone help please?

I have Clockwork Mod 2.5.0.1..I can't even reboot into recovery..Maybe that's the problem..I'm not sure if I should flash an earlier version of Clockwork..any advice or does anyone know if this is a known issue?

I fixed it..It is what I figured..I had to use an alternate version of Clockwork Mod..it seems the latest one isnt working...

    Thanks everyone.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall rom manager and flash different versions of clockworkmod but it still doesnt install it. When i click install rom and select the kernel it reboots into recovery and says installing and then quickly goes to the recovery menu without saying anything.
