    Dam... that looks nice. I soooo like HTCs (especially over Moto).
    WHYYYY can't VZW be GSM (like the rest of the world.....) can't wait till 4G (which should, hopefully put an end to this separate network specs BS...)

    no flame war intended. just was wondering why there was like 6 articles i found but obviously its gsm. i can only hope its coming to vzw a nice alternative to the nexus considering the radio issues. but no foul intended. have to wait and see tomorrow but agree it looks gsm so was wondering why all these other sites can report otherwise, i thought the other link was up to date but may be wrong,

    HTC is a confusing mofo of a company, haha... they release so many similar devices, to fit the bands of dozens of different carriers across the world... even if the Desire isn't released on VZ, or even in the US, we will see something similar... and the first one to come to VZ (from the latest reports) is the HTC Incredible.

    and your second link suggests Desire to VZ... man, now i'm confused

    yeah alot of contradictions here, hopefully we will see something similar to the notion. been waiting on the nexus one for vzw, but like you said im sure they will take and rename another model to be released sooner or later. htc seems to flood the market with phones. lol.

    I posted this in the other thread about this phone. The link is old as well, so take it for what it's worth.

    =====

    I do still wonder if it will be on Big Red though. I realize these can be faked, but this supposedly shows a Verizon screenshot listing the HTC Desire. But who knows, the image isn't pulled back far enough to see Verizon branding. This site has gotten good inside info before regarding upcoming Verizon phones though.
