I just got my Droid-x on 16 sept.

Now I am interested in finding out which Android I have...how do I do that? How to I update to 2.2 if I dont already have it. How do I get root access? What else can I do? I am a computer guy from 1960 when I worked on the IBM 7070 and have been in computers ever since. I run an AMD Athelon 64x2 Dual Core 5600+ 2.91Ghz with 4gb ram and 1TB HD under Linux Mint 8 for my desktop.

    I have a blogsite:
