Thanks for the warm welcome. It is rather humbling to have so much to learn.

I hope so - I feel like I'm standing at the base of Everest!

Odd how a person can be fairly savvy with a computer or a TV- but be a noob on a phone. ;)

I completely understand your situation. I switched from an iPhone. At first, because the Droid does not have the same user interface, I thought I had made a bad decision. In a few days, I became acclimated and became very comfortable with the phone.

Are the specific things that you need assistance with?

I've not done much with wallpapers so my suggestions are limited.

You can use any photo you have as wallpaper. Tap the menu soft key (second from the left between the return and home icons) tap wallpaper, tap Gallery. This will open all of your photos. Select the one you want and resize by moving the frame then apply.

Here is a link Droid Wallpapers - Motorola Droid Gallery - Droid Wallpapers, Droid Gallery that discusses wallpaper. It is located in the Theme section in the forum tab. If you see something you like send the poster a PM (private message) and ask for a copy or assistance. To create a PM to a member click on their name, above their avatar, and a window will open. Click send private message and a new screen will open.

Hope this is helpful.

Mike
