So ever since the gb update I have these four hard widgets at the bottom of the screen that never go away. Is there anyway to remove them?

I assume. The phone, contacts, messages, and app drawer Widgets. I hate them and wish to remove them. Is this possible?

You can change the left 3 to whatever you want.. just hold down on the icon and it will give you the option to choose a different app.

The apps icon on the right is permanent. You can use different launchers though.

gotta admit, i laughed pretty hard when i read this
but your best bet is an alternative launcher. and in saying this, there is a BASIC launcher that has like 5 or 6 different 'UI's on it including a fake sense, motoblur (atrix style), among others. forget the name though
