    hello to all. just switched from an iphone to a droidx. Wow - what a difference. Beena couple of days and i love the new phone!

    what is the benefit of rooting the phone?

    Custom Roms, app for Free Wifi tethering, adjust the phones CPU so you can make it run faster, you install apps that you cannot run on a stock phone, can customize the phone more, etc.. its like a jail broken Iphone but better!
